ASTROLOGY CLASSESAstrology Classes are ongoing. The curriculum for the the three year course is provided by the Canadian Association for Astrological Education (C.A.A.E.). Eight weeks of classes (two and one half hours in duration) are held in the Fall and Winter. Students attending these classes are eligible to write C.A.A.E. Exams (Levels One, Two and Three). Examinations are held each year in May. Astrology OneStudents learn about the sun signs, planets, houses, elements, modalities and aspects in an Astrology Chart. They gain a basic understanding of how planetary energies affect human behaviour. Students learn about personality characteristics, skills, talents, vocational possibilities and potential in their own birth charts. Astrology TwoStudents review the key words for the sun signs and planets, elements, houses, aspects and orbs in Astrology Charts. They study the meaning of the planets and their positions in the houses. They learn about Moon Phases, retrograde planets and configurations. Astrology ThreeThe signature, final dispositor, mutual reception and chart rulers are covered in this course. Students learn about chart patterns, house cusps, interceptions and the Nodes of the Moon. They study configurations in greater depth. Astrology FourStudents review the Moon's Phases and the Moon's Nodes. They are introduced to house rulers, the Vertex and the planet Chiron. Eclipses, interceptions, asteroids, critical degrees and Arabian Parts are covered in this course. Astrology FiveStudents study about the cyclic nature of the inner and outer planets and how these planetary transits affect our lives. They learn about Progressed Charts and study the Progressed Moon and Sun in depth. Astrology SixStudents continue to work on the planetary transits and the Progressed Charts. They are introduced to Solar Arc Directions and Solar Return Charts.
